OVERALL PERSONALITY:
•• S H Y He’s not the most people oriented person. He likes people, but meeting them has never really been his strong point. Blake tries to be friendly toward everyone, but a small fear lurks inside him that he might not be good enough. All through school his teachers praised him, but it never really boosted his confidence in himself. He knows what he’s good at and he knows what he needs to get better at, but just being more open to people he doesn’t know is something he lacks. It doesn’t run in his family though, so no one knows where he got this odd shyness from. He’s just naturally this way.
•• Q U I E T Along with being shy, he is a very soft spoken person. He’s never had a ‘booming man voice’ like his father has. It’s actually more of a soft, easy to understand kind of voice. He speaks softly, but he can project his voice when he’s sure he’s right or is talking comfortably. He’s never been an overly loud person unless he’s had too much coffee. He loves to drink the highly caffeinated beverage, but it has a very strange and very strong affect on him so he’s very careful to make sure he gets decaffeinated coffee so he’s not too wound up for work or family time.
•• P R O T E C T I V E Family means a lot to Mr. Owens, and it’s very hard for him to not be protective of them. He’s always been very close to his mother and father and his sister. He believes they are probably the best things that have ever happened to him and he tries his hardest to make sure they all are happy to have him as a part of their. He’s very protective of his sister since he’s been around her since she was born. He loves her more than most things, even cars, and is glad that he got to be there as her brother.
•• F R I E N D L Y He loves to be around people and he doesn’t reject anyone if they can be a friend to him, or vise versa. He likes the idea of having people like him. It makes him feel more accepted when he can befriend everyone instead of make a lot of enemies. He always tries for a best first impression and makes sure that he can act like he is in a good mood when he’s not. He likes to make people happy and brighten up their days. He isn’t the most people oriented person, but he tries very hard.
•• L O Y A L He’s kinda like a dog, even though he doesn’t like that comparison, it’s true. Maybe it’s not literally like a dog, you know, scratch his tummy and he’ll love you forever, but it’s that basic kind of concept. Befriend Blake and he’ll be your friend forever. He doesn’t like to let people down, ever. He will try his hardest to make sure someone else is happy before he makes himself happy. Friends and family come before him and he’ll always be there if it’s possible. So make him a friend, and you have a friend for life who will give it his all to help or make things better.
•• A F R A I D It’s hard for him to get over himself when it comes to fears because he doesn’t like to talk about them. His biggest fear is probably that he won’t be accepted. He knows he’s good at working and paying attention and following directions, but somewhere in there he always finds himself feeling like he did something wrong which might lead him to a point where he isn’t accepted and to be honest, that scares the living shit out of him. He doesn’t ever want to go through a stage in his life where he isn’t accepted because that will just devastate him.

OVERALL HISTORY:
After high school he didn’t move away from his family, as a matter of fact he still hangs out with them a lot. He got his own apartment and plans on getting himself to college eventually, but he stuck around as a mechanic. He works in town and has befriended a lot of the high school kids seeing as his sister is starting to finish up. He’s known a lot of her friends since he has always been close to his sister.
Brother and sister were always really close, and they will probably always be close, but there was one secret he’s kept from her for a long time. He’s a pretty straight edge kid, but for about two years, eighth grade through sophomore year, he smoked a lot of pot. It was something his parents didn’t know and something his sister didn’t know. The summer before he became a freshman he was high and went out with some friends. They were goofing off, but a dare pushed him too far and he broke both of his legs halfway through the summer. He told his parents it was an accident but they still to this day do not know that he was stoned. He dropped smoking shortly after that incident and hasn’t picked up a joint since. He’s told no one and the few that do know, don’t talk about it anymore because they’ve either moved away or know Blake’s feelings about that day.
Blake grew older, getting into his freshman year of high school, and he and his sister were close, but this was when he really started to standup his sister. They were really close as a brother and sister, only being three years apart, but he really started to shine with his academics. All through high school he got straight A’s and brought home awesome test grades while the closer to high school she got, her grades still didn’t beat him. He outshined her and he didn’t realize that it killed her to be overshadowed. He tried very hard to be a good brother to her, but his academic classes always came very easy to him and it was easy for him to get grades that were excellent verses the average. He wasn’t a sports star growing up through high school, but he became a senior and she entered as a freshman. He graduated third in his class and no, it wasn’t the best; but it was quite fantastic and he was thrilled.
Blake was the first born of two children in the Owens family. To Julian and Rosaline, they were happy to have a baby boy but three years later had a baby girl as well. They were perfectly happy with a boy and a girl, and raised their children up right. Sure, they were spoiled a little bit, but the family wasn’t filthy rich. They had good, knowledgeable kids that were not spoiled rotten. They knew the value of a dollar and could live with the fact that they didn’t get everything they wanted. Julian worked very hard for his family and made sure they had good clothes, food every night and a good education. When holidays rolled around they didn’t get a whole lot, but what they did get were things that they had actually asked for and wanted. It was a simple life they lived, and they were glad that their children understood that they were honestly trying to give them their best.

WON'T CRY FOR MY SOLITUDE
LAY MY HEAD AND DREAM OF YOU
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
Boom, boom, boom, boom.
The rhythmic bounce of the basketball echoed in the male’s ears as he dribbled it against the concrete on which he ran. It was not a fast run, just something a tad speedier than a jog and a hell of a lot more impatient than a walking pace. His slender, colorless finger tips pressed the ball down as it bounced back into his hand. It made no more than a second of contact before it was shooting down toward the ground again. It left deep circular imprints in the snow where no one’s feet had yet tread. His converse covered feet left imprints beside the circular ones, only they were long and slender to match their shape. At the back of the footprint he left was a small smudge from where his pants hung over the back of his foot. Every time he lifted his foot he further disrupted the snow and added that little ruffle to his print.
Covering his torso was a long sleeved shirt, and a sleeveless black leather jacket. It was not the warmest choice of clothes, but he’d run all the way here from his apartment, dribbling the basketball the whole time. Being warm wasn’t a matter too this creature, he could withstand the cold, and even though he didn’t like it, he forced himself to endure it. Steamy breath escaped his nostrils and mouth like fire from a dragon. His breathing matched the pace of the basketball, divided by two. He could breathe out one time for every two that the basketball made contact with the ground. The light colored steam would sweep up and over his pale features as it escaped the holes in his features. It didn’t ruffle his thick brown hair in the slightest because it was frozen from running out here. He’d made the mistake of leaving his hair just a tad wet before he’d come running and now here he was, running down the sidewalk, his hair standing tall and motionless atop his pale head.
A small smirk cracked his face, his thin lips curling up a bit at the corners. He ran through the parking lot, dribbling the basketball and shooting it against the wall as though it was a hoop. He threw he hands up in the air to catch the ball as it came back and he ran away from that wall, a smirk still showing on his colorless facial features. His dark brown eyes rose slightly to look at the school building. He’d already completed his classes for the day, and should be working on his internship, but his boss was home sick today, thus, giving him this glorious Wednesday off from everything. He dribbled back toward the school, dribbling around himself and through his legs. He was extremely bored and couldn’t come up with a logical reason why he’d run all the way here when he could have just chosen to go to the park or something dumb like that. Shaking his head to the left and right several times in his discontentment, he decided that maybe there’d be someone inside who was just as bored as he was, and who would like to play. He didn’t understand himself sometimes, and here was one of those major times. He dribbled around a little bit outside some more before he carried the ball inside.
“Argh, it’s hot in here...” he groaned in a pathetic way. It wasn’t really hot; he was just going to start getting feeling back into his limbs and face. That would be awkward. He walked through the halls and three times he almost slipped on the slick linoleum floor. He caught himself against the walls each time and he grunted some inaudible curse that was different from the last. Being as clumsy as he was annoyed him greatly, but he could do nothing about it, all he could do was swear. He fourth time slipping was a crash to the ground. The basketball rolled away from him, right into the library where he had no intentions on going. Several people looked out through the doorway to stare at him with cold glances. He just ripped the smirk off his face and stood his figure of five feet and eleven inches back up, and brushed himself off. Gingerly he stepped into the library to find his lost ball. “Did you see a lost ball come in here?” He asked sincerely, hiding his amusement. “It was about ye high... About ye wide...” The male made hand gestures to show the height and width. “Gavin, is his name, in case you do find him...” The male said, walking away from the two males who were less then pleased to have Ivan walking around the library, looking for his ball.
